MedRegion Courier Services LLC (“MedRegion,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) periodically engages qualified individuals to perform courier and delivery services as independent contractors within the State of Texas.

The information below describes general eligibility requirements and procedures for individuals interested in providing courier services to MedRegion on a contractual basis.

Submission of an inquiry or application does not constitute an offer of employment or a guarantee of work.


Independent Contractor Relationship

Drivers providing services for MedRegion do so strictly as independent contractors and not as employees of the Company.

Nothing contained in this opportunity or in any subsequent agreement shall be construed to create:

  • an employer–employee relationship
  • a partnership
  • a joint venture
  • or an agency relationship beyond the scope necessary to perform courier services

Independent contractors retain control over the manner and means by which delivery services are performed, subject only to reasonable service standards required to fulfill courier assignments.


Scope of Courier Services

Independent contractors may be offered delivery assignments that include, but are not limited to:

  • Medical specimen transportation
  • Laboratory pickup and delivery routes
  • Pharmacy or medication deliveries
  • Same-day courier services
  • STAT or time-sensitive deliveries
  • Business logistics and package transport

The availability, frequency, and type of delivery assignments may vary based on operational needs and geographic service coverage.

MedRegion does not guarantee any minimum number of assignments or level of compensation.


Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Individuals seeking to provide courier services as independent contractors should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license issued by a U.S. state
  • Maintain a reliable personal vehicle in safe operating condition
  • Maintain automobile insurance that meets or exceeds Texas legal requirements
  • Possess a smartphone capable of operating navigation and dispatch applications
  • Demonstrate professional conduct when interacting with clients and facilities

Additional screening or verification procedures may be required prior to approval as a contractor.


Vehicle Standards

Independent contractors must provide and maintain their own vehicle suitable for courier operations.

Vehicles should:

  • Be mechanically sound and legally registered
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Provide sufficient space to safely transport courier containers or packages

Certain delivery assignments may require the transport of insulated containers or other specialized courier equipment.


Contractor Responsibilities

Independent contractors are solely responsible for:

  • Payment of all federal, state, and local taxes arising from compensation received
  • Vehicle fuel, maintenance, and operational expenses
  • Maintaining required insurance coverage
  • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing transportation services

Nothing in this opportunity shall obligate MedRegion to provide employee benefits, workers’ compensation coverage, or other employment-related benefits.


Compensation

Compensation for courier services, if offered, will be determined pursuant to the terms of an independent contractor agreement and may vary depending on factors including:

  • Distance or mileage
  • Delivery urgency
  • Route assignments
  • Operational requirements

Payment terms and invoicing procedures will be established in any formal contractor agreement executed between the parties.
